What a weekend of motor sport at Barbagallo Raceway! V8 Supercars is over for another year and what a great weekend it was. WFMA flaggies, you made me proud to be your Chief and you all did our job, our club and our sport proud. Being part of such a dedicated group of officials (not just flaggies but all officials) makes the job a lot easier but the people and our shenanigans make the days even better. Being able to get through three long days and able to have fun doing it, it’s thanks to the group of officials that we are all a part of that makes it possible.
Shout out to Saloon Car Racing WA, Improved Production Racing Association of WA, Streets Cars and Formula Vee Western Australia for putting on a fantastic show across the weekend. You guys and gals certainly entertained.
I’ll be seeing some of you in Collie in two weeks and/or Albany in four and/or Barbagallo in seven. Until then, relax and recover!
